- Non-Refundable Reservation Down Payment (50% of the Rental Fee)
The Non-Refundable Reservation Down Payment Fee will be applied towards your Rental Fee. It is non-refundable and non-transferable if reservation is cancelled. All remaining fees are due 180 days prior to the event. - Contact our preferred professionals to get catering quotes. View the list of preferred professionals.
Reservations are not secure until all requested fees and documents are received and a contract is executed.
Temporary date reservations are not available.
Additional Information
- All permittees are required to use a caterer from the Preferred Professional List unless an outside caterer is approved at least six months prior to the event for all food, beverage, linen, and equipment services. The client is not allowed to supply any food or beverages.
- Cost to be determined by caterer.
- All deliveries, set-up, tear-down, and clean-up must be within reservation time.
- Permittees are encouraged to contact Preferred Professionals prior to booking a venue.
There is limited metered public parking. Parking is not guaranteed or included in facility rentals. Please consider alternative parking arrangements or providing a shuttle for guests.
There is no equipment provided. All equipment must be rented from Preferred Professionals or approved vendor. Please contact your Special Event Manager for more information.
The Chicago Park District requires any individual or group hosting an event on Chicago Park District property to obtain General Liability Insurance in the amount of $1M ($2M if serving alcohol) naming the Chicago Park District at 4830 S. Western Ave., Chicago IL, 60609 as Additional Insured. The Park District also requires the Endorsement issued by the insurance carrier. You may obtain this insurance from any insurance company of your choosing.
All events are required to submit a refundable security deposit, as outlined in the fee structure. The deposit will be refunded within 30 business days following the event, provided there is no damage to the property and all rules and regulations are fully complied with.
The security deposit may be partially or fully withheld for violations including, but not limited to, entering or exiting outside of the reserved time, deliveries or pick-ups occurring outside of the reserved time, bringing in outside food or beverages, and unauthorized vehicles on-site or on grassy areas.
There is limited electrical power available, especially outside. Generators may be rented to meet electrical needs. Please contact the Venue directly for questions.
All permittees are required to have at minimum three Security Officers. All security firms must be pre-approved prior to contracting.
Includes basic cleaning of rented areas.
